Stunning Blown Glass Sculpture: KELOWNA
This stunning blown glass sculpture also functions as a bowl. Size is 7x12.

"The process is 3 various lengths of 1/2” strips of clear glass stacked on their side. The next and alternating rows have a stack of 3 layers of 1” X 1/2” transparent coloured glass spaced throughout. This is fired in a kiln to 1370 degrees to maintain texture. This organic shape is then slumped into a ceramic bowl-shaped mold to 1220 degrees resulting in a functional piece of fused glass art."
